Westin Hotel – Downtown San Diego
MVW General Contractors, Inc. renovated the downtown San Diego hotel previously known as the Wyndham Plaza Hotel. The renovation was very complex in its nature due to the requirement to keep the hotel functional for guests and staff during the entire process.
The project's scope of work included:
- Renovating three floors of open public space, updating ceiling, lighting, flooring and other design pieces within the hotel
- Registration and guest reception area redesign
- Relocation of main bar area including new cabinetry and updated accessories
- Renovated restaurant with buffet
- Kitchen, ballroom, meeting rooms and fitness center renovations
- Updated guest rooms
